This does make me wonder, too...

…stroll down two or three aisles looking for the Dove soap, but 
for some reason it’s all locked up. There’s a little red button 
to call someone to unlock all the soap. Why, why? The question 
lingers in my mind, but not a strong enough one for me to care

This does make me wonder, too... I like the details - I was there in that liminal space of city pharmacy in the early hours of the morning. It has a definite vibe.
