I liked the analogy with the high street. I agree it could be a similar post-pandemic problem. A lot less people are at home than last year. There’s less time to read. I think there probably is too much sub-standard writing, too. The writing competition tried to address it, but the time taken to write those posts don’t add up (I wish they would!)
